Rip to the studs-demo everything (FOUNDATION TO BOOT!)-dig down 4′-install new foundation (NINE FEET!!!)-structurally tie building to new foundation (WAIT, WHA?!?)-straighten building 22″+ (TWO FEET!!!)-all new everything (HAMMERED COPPER KITCHEN SINK!!!) complete and total preservation renovation of our 1891 Victorian Mercantile, our home sweet home that we share with you, dear reader…

Site of East Portland’s’ circus grounds (YES, REALLY!!!), the uncompromising renovation success proved the mettle of Jack Chandler, proprietor and fiercely singular OG founder & #raddad to Celeste and Della. Ever since that incredibly difficult proving time, Oblique has been a stalwart bastion of uncompromising quality, consistency, resiliency, and super fresh beans, yo!!!
